    About US

We are both a high-performing LA Unified affiliated charter school and a new and innovative LA Unified magnet center.  Both programs are located on the Pomelo campus in beautiful West Hills, California. We have a lot to be Pomelo Proud about:  our exemplary Gifted and Talented program, our dedicated and passionate staff and teachers, a vibrant community of volunteers, two Computer Labs, an interactive Science Lab, a Music Room, our brand new Pomelo Garden and a well-stocked, up-to-date library with our very own highly-skilled librarian who knows all of our students by name and reading interests.  But most of all, we are proud of our students for their unlimited curiosity and creativity, and their capacity to learn and explore.  For them, we believe in designing learning opportunities that engage, excite, and challenge them to investigate, to problem-solve, to stretch their thinking, and to contribute to the greater good.  Did you know that beginning in 2021-2022, Pomelo CCS will be a School for Advanced Studies?  We are incredibly Pomelo Proud!
